20 Blank Keys - Yale 1 (5 pin) - YALB
This set of 20 Blank Yale 5 pin (YA1) has been put together for those of you wishing to try some of the various 'impressioning' techniques.
Impressioning has been around for years, but like everything, new developments have brought it back to the forefront of Non-Destructive Entry again and all sorts of ideas are being discussed and debated all over the net.
Impressioning requires softer brass keys like these, and we've successfully used them. Remember though, impressioning takes a lot of practice and effort. The results are amazing and I've seen a skilled locksmith use 1 key, 1 file and 1 magnifying glass and open the 6 pin lock in 4 minutes. I'll try and get a vid in the shop asap.
If you haven't heard about 'Impressioning' go to the forum and ask - you'll be amazed at the potential. Since these keys are made of brass they are also particularly suited to hand held cutters (such as our Lishi ones) and any sort of hand filing.
