Super Mica SIX pack - MICA
UK Bump Keys are proud to have - due to the endless requests - 'proper' SUPER MICA sheets. If you don't know, MICA is used as a latch shim and is widely considered the best stuff for the job. This selection of various gauge MICA (6 sheets) is an ideal collection for any working locksmith or entry agent of any sort and is often the simplest and quickest way past many a sprung-latch lock.
Locksmiths up and down the country will often use MICA if it's only a pin tumbler obstructing access - frequently spooking the owner into the installation of a decent mortice lock - and why not!
The method is the 'real' version of what you may have seen in films - where a credit card is used. Now although a credit card wouldn't get around the angles necessary to spring a bolt, MICA does, and this set of SUPER MICA ensures you have a variety of toughness to go with that flexibility.
