Why would you want to put a wedge between a door and frame and fill it with air? With a house door - Especially UPVC - It Means You can get to the mechanism Directly, and open it. With a vehicle, It Means you have room to insert REACH tools, unlocking doors from the outside. Suddenly, it does not seem odd at all - just really handy.??
