You might already be familiar with the hugely successful rakes made by Multipick in collaboration with YouTuber Lock Noob, namely the 'Monith' and 'Abona'.

This set takes those two picks, based on the now world famous 'peaks and troughs' designs, but Lock Noob takes that design to a new level, literally - by differentiating the heights of the peaks. A classic design adapted to provide a solution to different problems we encounter as lock pickers.

Alongside the 'Abona' and 'Monith' this set contains the new 'Druim' and 'Teylu' patterns, and with Multipick's exceptional No 1 Hook pick, essentially you're getting a set of rakes from FIVE PEAKS down to the one in the shape of the hook.

Since the upper peaks are more pronounced and differentiated, unlike the classic design, they can also reach rear, lower-lying pins. But there's more, due to the extended peaks, it makes them more versatile. Using a multitude of raking techniques, more, deeper set or hard to reach pins can be raked, before finishing off (when required) with the Elite No1 Hook.

This gives you an incredible scope for advanced raking techniques, of which there are more than you might think. Many lock pickers make the fatal mistake of thinking raking is just about scrubbing and ripping. But with the many movements the more contemporary rake designs - like this set - provide, you can open more locks and faster with all manner of techniques. There's oscillating movements, stroking, lifting, rocking, elliptical strokes, tilting, even mixing one or two of them - new, modern raking designs have provided the modern lock picker with new, modern raking techniques.
