Here at last is the 8pc Comb Pick Set. If
you haven’t heard about them already, or seen the
videos, you’re going to be very impressed. Since
the more familiar 3pc set (in the videos) has 5 LESS picks,
and since we snapped two of them in as many locks, we
opted for these instead,. They’re stronger and there
are more of them. They really are quite something.
The technique is simple. Match up the pins in the lock
with the prongs on the picks and push BOTH parts of the
pin AND the spring into the housing of the lock. The prongs
of the tool now meet the pins at the shearline and the
plug is free to turn and the lock open, brilliant!.
Comb picks allow you to exploit the fact
that you can push both parts of the pin and spring into
the padlock housing.
