The tool is designed for copies of Abloy type locks that use the ‘disc detainer’ system – we’re seeing more and more of these padlocks about (i.e. Monteray and Blackspur) and are glad to offer a decent tool purely for them. This pick has been designed for the individual picking of the ‘discs’ in these hard to pick padlocks.
Using the tool couldn’t be easier and we at UK Bump Keys have as much success with this version of the pick as we did with versions costing nearly five times as much!
These locks are pretty much resistant to most other methods of non-destructive entry, and with them cropping up more and more they make a useful and affordable addition to your toolbox.
