If you intend to start taking pin-cylinder locks apart, to strip them down or replace pins, or repair them. You'll require a selection of plug followers.
These handy tubes go into the housing as you remove the core, keeping everything in place and making the job a pleasure.
If you don't use a plug follower, be prepared for your pins and springs to ping out all over the place, mixing up key and driver pins and possibly losing springs.
