Find your Lishi in three taps

Every Lishi is cut for one keyway. Tell us what you're opening and we'll show you the pick and decoder that fits it.

What are you opening?

A Euro cylinder is the keyed barrel on most uPVC and composite doors. A rim cylinder sits on the face of the door, usually with a night latch.

Lishi pick FAQ

What is a Lishi pick?

A Lishi pick is a 2-in-1 pick and decoder cut for one keyway. You pick one position at a time on a numbered scale, then read the cut depths to get the key code.

Are Lishi picks universal?

Each Lishi fits a single profile, so they aren't universal. A HU66 is a VW Group tool and a HU101 is mainly Ford, while a Yale rim tool won't fit a Euro cylinder.

Which Lishi should I buy first for UK locks?

For UK doors, start with the Yale rim or Yale Euro pick and decoder, whichever matches your cylinder. For cars, choose the profile that matches the cars you work on most, using our vehicle list.

Do I need a separate tension wrench?

You don't need one, because a Lishi is tensioned through its own body.

Do you sell Lishi tools for dimple and high-security locks?

Yes. Our Dangerfield Lishi-style range covers ABUS/CISA, Mul-T-Lock 3DS, ISEO R6 and TESA T60 dimple cylinders and the Yale Platinum 3 Star with its slider, plus the Yale Superior 1 Star and APECS Three Star.

How do I know a Lishi is genuine?

Genuine Lishi 2-in-1 tools carry the Mr. Li silhouette logo. Our Dangerfield tools are Lishi-style and labelled that way.

Is it legal to own Lishi picks in the UK?

Yes. Owning lock picking tools is legal in the UK.
