There's two types of mortice lock - about half have a 'curtain' to help prevent lock picking (we sell a 'curtain pick' for those) and the rest without a curtain.
This pick is for the latter, non-curtained mortice locks. One part of the pick puts pressure (tension) on the bolt, and the other picks the levers.
